The FluoroLog-3

The FluoroLog®-3 spectrofluorometer is the ultimate in modular research fluorescence system. With sensitivity and flexibility unequaled, it will perform analyses over the ultraviolet and visible regions of the fluorescence spectrum as well as far into the IR.

Aqualog is the only instrument to simultaneously measure both absorbance spectra and fluorescence Excitation-Emission Matrices. EEMs are acquired up to a 100 times faster than with other instruments. Dedicated software automates traceable Quinine Sulfate Unit calibration and correction of inner-filter effects and Rayleigh and Raman scattering lines, enabling rapid export to modeling algorithms like PARAFAC.

Time-Correlated Single-Photon Counting on the World's Most Sensitive Spectrofluorometer. The World's Most Sensitive Spectrofluorometer, with TCSPC ready to perform time-domain lifetime spectroscopy! You get the reliability and know-how of the Spex® FluoroLog® series, together with the solid-state economy and sensitivity of IBH lifetime analysis, all in one instrument. All functions are software controlled from a host computer, giving you access to data with just a few keystrokes. A high repetition rate light source rapidly builds up a histogram of the sample's fluorescence decay.

Microscopy & Mapping


The Spex® FluoroMap features high sensitivity, confocal microscopy with spatial resolution down to 1 mm, wide spectral response from the UV to near-IR, and time resolution down to the picosecond range, all in one modular instrument. The FluoroMap is a flexible, automated system for mapping fluorescence lifetime and emission.

TCSPC Confocal Microscope

HORIBA Jobin Yvon introduces a filter-based confocal system (the DynaMicT) to measure fluorescence lifetime and intensity directly under the microscope in the deep UV and visible (240-850 nm). With TCSPC's unequalled sensitivity, this microscope-fluorescence system finds wide applications in biotechnology and nanotechnology. The DynaMicT is especially useful for intrinsic protein fluorescence measurements, such as distinguishing tryptophan and tyrosine, with the 295 nm LED


Remote Sensing


The only in-vivo, fiber-optic spectrofluorometer. Designed specifically for skin-fluorescence and hair-fluorescence measurements. It is also ideal for many remote sensing steady-state fluorescence applications such as plants or sea life.

  • A quartz fibre bundle selectively delivers uv-nir radiation to the subject, then collects the resulting fluorescence. There's no need for sample preparation, cuvettes, or adaptation.

Process Monitoring


A turn-key uranium assay system with 0.1ppb sensitivity. Uses time-domain to achieve accurate measurements even on samples which would normally need extensive chemical pre-treatment.
